1 FA Cup 4th Qualifying round draw. on Sat Oct 12 2013, 17:44

Who do you fancy then?

Kiddie or Luton at our place if poss or if we are away i'd fancy going to Lincoln as my mate was commercial manager there for a few years and i'd love to be able to wind him up.

Please not some London area Skrill South outfit away ;-[[

We're now into that stage of the cup where you want either the smallest club at home or the biggest club away.

I suppose the nightmare draw would be Nuneaton away.

Hope that's not tempting fate!

Followed closely by Hednesford away (if they win their replay). Please no.

In previous seasons the draw for the Fourth Qualifying Round has always been split north and south, so I'd expect it to be the same this year. But the FA did change the format of the Third Qualifying Round this season (from four regions to straight north/south) so they may go completely open from here.

If it's North/South we should be in the North, along with...

Alfreton Town
Barrow
Bradford Park Avenue
Chester
Colwyn Bay
Corby Town
Gateshead
Grimsby Town
AFC Halifax Town
Hednesford Town/West Auckland Town
Hyde
Kidderminster Harriers
Lincoln City
Macclesfield Town
Marske United
North Ferriby United
Nuneaton Town
Rushall Olympic
Solihull Moors
Southport
Stamford
Tamworth
Vauxhall Motors
Workington
Wrexham

(apologies to Stour_boy for sort of duplicating his earlier post, but I think this is the more likely way it will work)

To save me the time searching through the leagues can any of our "anal retentives" out there give us an outline of the weakest teams ( on paper ) left in the draw please.

I think Marske, West Auckland and Hartley Wintney are the only teams on that list from FA Vase leagues. (i.e. below level 4 of the non-league pyramid system)

And of those only Marske are definitely through.

As we haven't played in North Wales for some time, I'd be quite happy with Colwyn Bay for the away game. What about Wrexham at home Wink

Worth mentioning that it was a very good day for the Premier Division yesterday.

Biggleswade Town, Weymouth, Corby Town, Hemel Hempstead Town, Poole Town, St Albans City and Stourbriadge all got through to the 4th Qualifying Round from the Premier Division. Only Arlesey Town and Hungerford Town were knocked out, and Hungerford fell to Poole, so one of them had to go!

7 clubs through compared with 3 from the Isthmian Premier (4 if Grays get through) and 2 from the NPL Premier.
