Just like to wish Lewis all the best for the future and thank him for his great service to Stourbridge FC.

350+ games for the club, helping us rise from the MFA to the Southern premier is a record any player should be proud of. His contribution to the clubs achievements over the past 8 years should not be underestimated. A good guy and a good keeper, thank you Lewis & Good Luck.

Hear hear! Good luck to Lewis for the future.

Reading other forums he was always highly rated by supporters at other clubs, not just for his performances but for his ability to take a bit of stick without being a miserable git back and joining in with the craic. I think he got a lot of respect from other supporters around the SL over the years.

For my money there were better all-round keepers in this Division such as Ian Brown (Bedford) and Zac Barrett (Cambridge) but none could touch Lewis for pure shot-stopping.

Interesting and honest interview with Lewis from the Stourbridge News website (assume it was in the paper too)...

Thought it was a good article. Lewis been a good servant to the club but perhaps he thought gary might fight harder for him to stop.

Hope it works out at rushall.
